Lost and Found:
I glad to say that a few articles which were left,
lost or forgotten on the Silver Splurgeon
or in the Painted Whore have been reacquainted with their owners.
Nevertheless, there have been a few comments
as to other lost and found articles:
Still missing:
One Archetypal watch – unique as it is showing the time in
Australia.
Found:
If anyone has lost copies of the illuminated seating plan, there
are a couple of spares. I have also downloaded a copy of this on the website.
Please click
here to access it.
Lost:
I did notice a few old Tabs losing the last few remnants of
their brains, but I doubt Lost and Found can help.

I lost my glasses!
This brief comment resulted in a full-scale hunt of the Painted Whore
and the Silver Splurgeon.
The next we hear is: I found them.
They were in the car that took me home. Many thanks

Well, I have completely lost any memory of what happened
from before I
picked up my jacket to leave the Silver Splurgeon
until I was on my sister's
lawn in Clapham fumbling for keys (which were found only the next day
on the
grass) . Somehow I negotiated the tube (and
without being mugged - as far as
I know)
I do remember, however, meeting you at the dinner - a great experience
(as
Mike Muir-Smith warned me it might well be) - and will be getting
back to
you with more information to see if you can help track down an Oxford
oarsman somewhere near Melbourne.
Dear Patrick
We do have another item of lost property which
has arisen and I would be
grateful if you could circulate the details to your email list and post
the
info on your website.
Dominic Reid's mac was taken by mistake from
the Silver Sturgeon at the end
of the evening and I have been left with a similar Marks and Spencer's
mac
in its place.
The description of the mac
is:
Make: Cordings
Size: 42 (must be a cox?)
Type: Brand new, plain beige mac, with no
belt and a silk lining
with the winter lining removed.
I left a black PC bag there which
I am DESPERATE to get back a.s.a.p. today
if poss. I still have the luggage ticket 0093. Who do I get
in touch with?

Yes,
now you mention it...I seem to have lost a large sack of sovereigns,
a Picasso (blue period of course) and £50,000 in cash. I trust
you and Intrigues are adequately insured.
Yours awaiting speedy settlement,
DR
I lost 3 hours of my life somewhere between 11 and
2am
Apart from a few brain cells I think the rest of my belongings
are intact!
What a fantastic evening.
A privilege to have
been there, perfect in every
respect.
Many thanks to all involved.

Sitting between Harpum
and Moynihan I lost my sense of humour
